Cookie statement

Cookie statement.

SAIG uses as few cookies as possible. By default we place only cookies that are strictly necessary for the functioning of the website. We place analytics cookies solely after you have given your consent.

Last updated: 14 July 2026 · version 1.0

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the website. They ensure that the site functions properly and, with your consent, that we can anonymously measure how the site is used.

2. Which cookies we use

  • Necessary. Required for the basic operation of the site, including remembering your cookie preference. These cookies are always on; no consent is required for them and they collect no data for analytics or marketing.
  • Analytics (optional). Anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics, to measure how the site is used and to improve it. These cookies are placed only after you have given your consent, and your IP address is anonymised.

SAIG does not place advertising or marketing tracking cookies and does not sell data to third parties.

3. Consent: how it works

On your first visit, a window appears in the bottom-right corner where you choose your preferences. Necessary cookies are always on; analytics cookies are off by default and are only loaded if you switch them on and save your choice, or click Accept all. As long as you make no choice, no analytics cookies are placed.

5. Google Analytics

For analytics measurement we use Google Analytics 4. These cookies are loaded solely after your consent. We have enabled IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is not processed in full. Processing by Google is an exception to our principle of processing data exclusively within Europe (see the privacy statement) and therefore takes place only when you choose it yourself.

6. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent for analytics cookies, they are no longer loaded; you can delete analytics cookies that have already been placed via your browser settings.

7. Changes to this statement

We may amend this cookie statement when the cookies used or the applicable rules give cause to. The current version is always available on this page; the date and version number at the top indicate when the text was last amended. For our broader handling of personal data, see our privacy statement.
