About SAIG › Why SAIG exists
Why SAIG exists.
Since Article 4 took effect, every organisation must demonstrate AI literacy. But without a shared standard, "demonstrable" means something different to everyone.
The problem
An obligation without a yardstick.
Organisations invest in training but cannot compare what a result is worth. Employers, supervisors and the labour market lack a common language for AI literacy.
The solution
An independent, testable standard.
SAIG issues that standard and certifies the individuals who meet it, independently assessed, verifiable and mapped to the legal requirements. "Demonstrable" thereby becomes unambiguous at last.
Context · June 2026About 17% of European organisations have a formal AI policy in place (ISACA, 2024), while enforcement of Article 4 begins on 2 August 2026.
